E-scooter orders ship free, while parts and accessories enjoy free shipping on orders over €39.99.

Electric scooters typically use three main types of tires: pneumatic tires with tubes, tubeless tires, and solid tires. Each type has its own advantages and disadvantages:
1. Pneumatic Tires with Tubes

  Higher risk of blowouts

2. Tubeless Tires

  Ideal for high-speed scooters

3. Solid Tires

Maintenance-free and puncture-proof

Yes. Both tubeless and pneumatic tires are made of rubber, but they use different rubber compositions and material formulas.

Except for the F1 Max and SR1 produced in 2025, other models are equipped with tubeless tires for improved performance and lower maintenance cost. All models produced in 2026 will come with tubeless tires.

No, it’s not recommended to replace pneumatic tires with tubeless ones. Installing tubeless tires requires replacing the wheel hub and motor with compatible parts. Additionally, the front and rear swing arms must match the new tire size, and all components must be perfectly compatible with the frame. The installation process is complex, and any incompatibility may compromise safety. Therefore, this modification is not recommended.

The recommended tire pressure for all Ausom scooters is 50 PSI. You can find the recommended tire pressure on the tire sidewall, indicated in PSI or kPa.

All Ausom scooters are shipped with a factory tire pressure of 50 PSI. However, it’s normal for the tire pressure to gradually decrease during transportation. We recommend checking and inflating your tires to 50 PSI after receiving your scooter to ensure the best riding performance and safety.

The recommended tire pressure is 50 PSI. In summer, you can reduce it slightly (by about 1–2 PSI). In winter, you can increase it slightly (by about 1–2 PSI). Most importantly, it's advised to check your tire pressure regularly and always adjust it when the tires are cold to ensure optimal performance.

You can check your tire pressure in several ways:

1. Use a tire pressure gaugeYou can compare the reading with the recommended tire pressure value on the tire sidewall. If the tire pressure is below 80% of the recommended value, you can inflate the tires. If it exceeds 15% of the recommended value, you can release some air to reduce the pressure.

2. Press tires with your hands. Low tire pressure: Press the tire surface firmly with your hands. If it is soft, easily compressed, and rebounds slowly, this indicates that the tire pressure is too low. High tire pressure: When you press the tire surface, it feels very hard and barely compresses. This indicates that the tire pressure is too high.

3. Observe riding performance When the tire pressure is low, you will feel your scooter is heavy and sluggish. Besides, it feels unstable when cornering, and it is difficult to control the handlebars. The scooter's acceleration becomes slower, and the overall range is noticeably reduced. When the tire pressure is high, you will experience an excessively bumpy ride, greatly reducing riding comfort.

4. Visual inspection. This method is only effective for obvious under inflation. For daily use, it is recommended to rely on the first three methods to determine the tire pressure.

Riding with low tire pressure can cause several issues that affect both safety and performance:
1. Increased Risk of Blowouts
When tire pressure is too low, the sidewalls flex and deform excessively during rotation. This leads to overheating and fatigue of the tire’s carcass and rubber, which may eventually result in a blowout.
2. Reduced Steering Precision and Cornering Stability
When the tire pressure is low, the scooter becomes less responsive and harder to control, reducing riding comfort. When cornering, the lack of proper tire support  increases the risk of losing balance or sliding.
3. Significantly Shortened Range
Underinflated tires have a larger contact area with the ground, increasing rolling resistance. This forces the motor to work harder and drains the battery faster, significantly shortening riding range.
4. Weakened Braking Performance
Although the contact area increases, the pressure distribution becomes uneven—too much on the sides and too little in the center. This friction imbalance compromises braking efficiency and overall vehicle stability.
5. Rim damage
With low tire pressure, the tires cannot absorb shocks effectively. When hitting potholes or bumps, the impact force transfers directly to the wheel rim, which may cause deformation or cracks.
